Xinerama Question

I've never used Xinerama and have searched the HOWTO for an answer before
posting this.

It might not even be a Xinerama problem.

What I want to do is run a Xinerama style multiple head environment where
the X servers are on two different hosts.

Is this possible?

The old motif window manager used to be able to do multiple displays but
once a client had been started on a screen it couldn't be dragged to the
other one.

So I guess what I'm looking for is a virtual X server that uses other X
servers to do the actual displaying.
