Help with fdisk please

It looks like it . . . I'm not very familiar with fdisk - I normally
use cfdisk, which explicitly lists free space on the disk. With
Debian I believe cfdisk is installed by default, I'm not sure about
RH or any others.

Whatever the case, you really should make sure you have backups of
all your important data before playing with the partition table like
this - if something goes wrong, you can be left with a completely
hosed system, from which recovery is in the realm of the Gods . . . 
YHBW ;-)

Oh, I notice there's a nice big chunk of free space right at the 
start of the disk, too ;-)
