You will need fetchmail - man for fetchmailrc I think
and a pop3 or imap server.
if you have a default server install of redhat I would expect it to have
these already.
sendmail just need to be configured to the local users - one for each of
your family i expect.
fetchmail graps the mail via pop3 then hands it to sendmail which dumps it
into your local mailboxes then the mail clients receive it via their
favorite mail client thru pop3 or imap....

make any sense?
