Two silly redhat questions

Hey,

ok, I should know this, but I can't think of the answer... How do I
determine what redhat version a box is running? There's no telnet server,
so I can't just use that...

Also, I can't see a RPM for the OpenSSH I need to upgrade to. I guess I'll
go with source unless someone else knows where I can find it...
