For your information, especially if you own an internal modem which uses 
a Rockwell/Conexant chipset, there are drivers now available for both 
the HCF and the HSF winmodems. HOWEVER, not all chipsets are supported 
so don't get your hopes up too high but check out the site www.mbsi.ca 
where Marc Boucher is writing beta drivers for these winmodems. I asked 
him nicely and he added my modem into the HCF driver (for SuSE 8) which 
made me very, very happy.
