While I'm on the LVM train of thought, could someone tell me if I 
should be able to use a storage object as a 'component' in a storage 
container?  The documentation implies that I can, but I can't.

I have a drive with some bad blocks, so I created objects using the BBR 
(bad block replacement) handler.  I then tried to add them to a storage 
container, but it wouldn't let me.  I can, however, use them to create 
volumes, but the volumes can't be resized.  What am I missing?
