Linux, D3 & "nailed" ports

If anyone has any experience with running Linux & D3 with "nailed" ports
could they contact me OL to discuss an odd phenomenon that causes Linux to
lock up solid after about 10 D3 users have logged in.

This is D3 7.2.1 on Red-hat 7.1

Earlier versions were fine.
