I don't know if it's too much like shaking the hornets' nest - but you 
could let them know that you're trialling their service for 1 month, to 
be compared with their competitor who you'll be trialling next month.

Perhaps they'll lift their game a little when they know they're under 
examination by the people with the money ;)

Then again, they might try and make you sign a EULA which forbids 
publically reviewing or criticising their service!
