Way off Topic - Canberra Dial Up ISP

G’Day,

I realise this is off topic so please no flames, but recently there has been
much discussion about TransACT and associated ISP’s. With BigPond abolishing
the BIG150 plan that I was on and moving me to something with less time and
downloads yet hiking the price I am looking for a new ISP. I was wondering
if anyone had any experiences with local Canberra ISP’s that could aid me in
my decision. Essentially I am looking for a 56K, limited time, unlimited
download plan. However I am most interested with how well the ISP performs
in other areas such as:

-          Local Peering
-          International Access
-          Modem Quality / Utilisation

Anyone got any suggestions?
