Hello.

I have a machine plugged into a Cisco 1900 10mbit switch via some CAT5. I
am looking at the ifconfig provided network statistics, and about half of
the packets are errors. Any ideas what might cause this?

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:20:35:71:B5:F0
          inet addr:172.31.0.61 Bcast:172.31.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:1305814 errors:525101 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:788589
          TX packets:819869 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:100
          RX bytes:1898529454 (1810.5 Mb) TX bytes:54543631 (52.0 Mb)
          Interrupt:9 Base address:0xe000

Is this bad cabling?

Mikal
