Huge screens tend to ome with non-modest processors. For example:

16.1" screen, 2 GHz processor.

The biggest problem with Sony products (I'm on verge of getting a 505TFP:
http://www.sony.com.au/VAIO/products/index.cfm?catid=19479&prodid=PCGR505TFP&om=&auth=true
) is that accessories are horrendously expensive. Not such a problem for RAM
(you can get it anywhere), but bad for batteries. I have a PCG430 now, but
its getting old (screen is marginal, battery pack is dead, 6G drive is a bit
cramped, P3-433 is a bit slow), although a RAM injection (it came with 64Meg,
now has 256Meg) helped enormously.
