currupt disks

Does anyone know if the debian ISOs have a propensity to become currupt
once installed to disk? I know it sounds like a silly question but I've
burnt 2 copies of the nonus disk1 from mirror.aarnet and each of the
disks is currupt "in different places".

I don't think the fact that I'm installing it in a VMware session should
make any difference.
