MS Exchange client for linux?

Fetchmail supports ntlm authentication.

Give that a try. You need to compile fetchmail with the --enable-NTLM option.
I don't think this will be a widely enabled option with pre-packaged
stuff.

If you haven't used fetchmail before, have a look. It allows you to download
mail from various servers (I pull down from 3 or 4 different accounts). By
default, it forwards mail to your local mail server. Most distros have
sendmail running (I think). It just pops the mail in your local account and
away you go. Read it with whatever STANDARD (hooray!) mail client you like.

I add procmail into the equation to filter different mail accounts and the
like into different mail boxes. Works a treat.

Paul.
