More Apple_Bootsrap Issues

I've setup the bootstrap finally using 'mkofboot -b /dev/hda9', and installed the Kernel and Base system.

When I reboot, I hold down the option key, but the linux partition won't appear as a boot option.

I came to a CLUG meeting once, and a guy there ran some Open-Firmware commands.
The one that comes to mind involved an option of 'tbxi'.
Ring any bells?? If so then please get back to me.
