IBM also do a PCI based card that is claimed to work in any machine (not
just IBMs), they call it C2T (Cable Chaining Technology). I can't find
a webpage, but didn't look real hard either.

Compaq also now sell a similar product seperate to the LOM, it has a
head-end PCI card and up to 64 daisy-chained slaves over cat5.

Look here
http://www.compaq.com/products/servers/proliantstorage/rack-options/kvm/
index.html for the Compaq ones.

Great idea, never seen it in operation - ompaq have a showcase/display
out near the airport which should have it on show.
