Epson printer

Hi,

I'm having trouble getting an Epson Stylus C60 to work at its full capacity 
under Redhat Linux 7.1

Everything we threough at it prints, it's just that the resolution is never 
better than 300dpi. The printer can do 1440 dpi.

I've tried using the resources at linuxprinting.org, and fiddled about with 
the settings on my machine. Does anyone have a solution ready-to-go, or some 
tips?
