Well, there is.  htdig has got to be the worst search engine on the face
of the planet.  It operates like so:

 * find documents relevent to search query
 * return as results every other document in the index

A nice free one which actually works is aspseek.  Since this is on work
time, we (tSA) can help you with non-free solutions if you like :-)
