Just a niggly... the answer isn't necessarily X.  6000 is an
unprivileged port, hence it could be anything.  You can't assume that
the system has X Windows installed, let alone running (not enough info
was provided iirc)

This is why we're all giving ways to find out exactly what it really is
:)
