I had tried wget and lynx last night, but clearly I was too tired and not
thinking clearly.  I simply had to remove the 'HTTP/1.1' from the end.

I just need to tie it together with the url that returns the current file
number, and it should all work.  I will post my final script to the list if
anyone is interested.
