RADIUS

G'day,

It would be nice to have a better picture of your setup, but yeah, it's
definitely to do with realms. You shouldn't need to 'set up a realm' if all
you want to do is strip off the realm coming direct from a NAS or via a
RADIUS proxy. What are you authenticating users against? Are you
authenticating users from multiple sources?

I haven't used icradius and it's been a long time since I used Cistron, but
at one point I was using it as a RADIUS proxy to an internal RADIUS server
-- I was stripping off the realm with Cistron on the way through. I don't
recall it being too painful.

A Google for 'icradius strip realm' turned up a couple of potentially useful
links..

Cheers,
Dale
