XFree86 4.1.0, Radeon VE unresolved symbols

I had the same problem in trying to use 4.1.0 on my Toshiba
laptop with a CyberBlade card. I reported this as a bug to the
XFree bug list, but I never heard anything about it. I ended up
going back to an earlier version of X.
