According to the Unix clock, time started at midnight on the 1 January
1970 and has been counted in seconds ever since.  At the above instant
next month, the time will click over from 999,999,999 to 1,000,000,000.
 
Shouldn't cause any date/time related problems with code ... but worth
noting.
