Buying hard drives

Recently purchased Athlon 1333, 128M DDR.

30GB Western Digital 7200RPM ATA100 (BB):

root at boom:~# hdparm -Tt /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 Timing buffer-cache reads:   128 MB in  0.58 seconds =220.69 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads:  64 MB in  1.99 seconds = 32.16 MB/sec
