Screen buffer

You can increase the screen buffer size in the kernel source by editing
linux/drivers/video/vgacon.c and adding the line:

#define VGA_CAN_DO_64KB

This increases the buffer from 32k to 64k, but this depends on your video
card. Of course, you still have the problem of buffers disappearing when
changing VC's.

Where would I find a program called "screen" as suggested by Matthew
Hawkins?
