linux-nisplus Digest, Vol 60, Issue 6

Good Morning,

I have used NISplus since it began, but only on Sun SPARC systems. I
now have a Mac with
Sun's xVM. Just loaded 64bit Ubuntu, and I have compilation errors.
Looking over the logs, I see
there are many references to missing items all with 64bit references.
I am going to try to install
Ubuntu x86 (32bit) and see if this is the deal. If so, then I think
we just need to track down different
GNUlibC libraries. The mp.h being missing seems to be the starting
problem.

Hopefully will get the done today.....You know..... NISplus is native
in Solaris10 and opensolaris.
Just a thought.

Gene
