Error while compiling nisplus on centos 5.3

Hello all,
my first post on this list.
I have Sun solaris running nis+ service and may solaris nis+ clients.
I am trying to get centos5.3 as nis+ client
Downloaded nis-utils-1.4.1 and did ./configure which completed without
any errors on this x86_64 host.
Here are some lines from the 'make check'

Can someone please help? There are hugh number of users who are
