NIS+ configuration problem

hello 
      Iam an electronics engineer trying to set up NIS+ on a redhat 7.2
client that needs to interact with solaris 8.0 nis+ server, I have no know
how as to how we compile source rpms and install them. Iam getting the
following errors on typing ./configure

checking for working aclocal...missing
checking for working autoconf...missing
checking for working autoheader...missing
checking for working makeinfo...missing
checking for gcc..no
checking for cc ...no
configure: error:no acceptable cc found in $PATH 

PLease help
