Why rpc.nisd doesn't run on linux box?

We know that /usr/sbin/rpc.nisd has to run
on side and client sides for getting everything ok
on NIS+ system.
I tried to start this daemon without success.
Anyone could help me please?
Thanx in advance.

P.S: My systems are Red Hat 7.2 and 7.3.
