That looks wrong. Seems like that last one should be returning an error
of some sort. It would probably be good to open a bug for this at the
samba.org or kernel.org bz so we can make sure we keep track of this
problem.

Be sure to attach the strace output and the capture to it, and cc me on
the BZ as well.
