I looked at how smbclient code handles this the other day.

At first glance, it doesn't look too tough to do, but it looks like the
way the signing keys work is a little different between krb5 and
ntlmssp. I haven't yet spent the time to work out the details though,
so this could be more tricky than it first appears...
