[linux-cifs-client] Re: trying to mount.cifs a DFS share - system, freeze

With 2.6.17-11-generic kernel (from an Ubuntu 6.10) and
mount.cifs 1.10
I do experience the same problem than Tomasz:

But with no kernel message.

The server is also running Windows 2003.

The strange thing though is that using smbclient, I can browse
the DFS directories properly!!
