[linux-cifs-client] kernel panic in mount.cifs

hi steve and others -
A box of ours had a kernel panic and it looks like mount.cifs was
running when it happened. The box was running Debian Sarge with kernel
2.6.13.2 and cifs 1.42.

Unfortunately, the only output that we were able to gather from the
box is a screenshot of the terminal output from a KVM switch that was
connected to the box. It's definitely a hassle to deal with, but the
attached .gif file has the stack trace/etc. Hopefully this is enough
information that someone on this list will be able to come up with some
sort of diagnosis.

One thing that stuck out at me were the messages

'CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -11'

I have had problems in the past with cifs mounts failing with

"mount error 11 = Resource temporarily unavailable"

when attempting to mount shares exported by windows computers. I have
never been able to reliably reproduce them, and I'm not sure that the
two problems are related, but solving either one would be great. Any
input is appreciated.
