Hi Steve,
I tried this on kernel 2.6.16.17 and it failed at the CIFS module
compilation with these errors:
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c: In function `cifs_get_sb':
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:477: error: `MS_SILENT' undeclared (first use in this
function)
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:477: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported
only once
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:477: error: for each function it appears in.)
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c: In function `cifs_init_inodecache':
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:694: error: `SLAB_MEM_SPREAD' undeclared (first use in
this function)
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c: In function `cifs_init_request_bufs':
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:736: warning: implicit declaration of function
`mempool_create_slab_pool'
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:737: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer
without a cast
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:768: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer
without a cast
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c: In function `cifs_init_mids':
fs/cifs/cifsfs.c:803: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer
without a cast
Is there an include file that didn't make it into your .tar.gz ? I
copied the files in the archive over the existing cifs directory from
the kernel source.
Thanks,
Derek
