Hi,

I try to map a windows 2003 server shared drive but the user (specified in
uid option) cannot write to this mounted drive.

As root user :

mount -t cifs //NRB0DB03//VEHICLE /mnt/NRB0DB03 -o user=<WIN-USER>,
password=<WIN-PWD>, domain=<WIN-DOM>, uid=<MyUserAccount>, gid=<MyGroup>,
rw, dir_mode=0775, file_mode=0775

NRB0DB03 = Windows 2003 server name
VEHICLE = Name of the shared directory on Windows 2003

When I read the mounted drive with "ls -la" command, all files are
displayed with the -rwxrwxr-x permissions and the owner is my user
(specified in uid option).

All seems to be OK but that's don't work, why ???

mount.cifs version = 1.6-SUSE

Please respond to my personal mailbox : d.wintgens at sita.be

Cordially,

Didier Wintgens
