[linux-cifs-client] Can't CIFS (1.20c for 2.4.x kernels) handle
sticky bits ?

Hello !!
When I set sticky bit on a directory (whole separate partition) exported by
Samba (3.0.7, unix extensions enabled, Red Hat 9 kernel 2.4.20-31.9) and then
cifs mount that share on a client (Red Hat 9, kernel 2.4.20-31.9, cifs 1.20c)
two users belonging to the same group and having appropriate rights (rw for a
group) can not edit each others' files. When the sticky bit is removed on the
Samba server editing is possible. Has anybody experienced that ? I'll
appreciate your comments and suggestions.
Best regards,

PS. Using newer software (CIFS, Samba, OS) is not possible for me at the
moment.
