oops,,, i've jsut crashed [=
im using kernel version2.4.25, and cifs sources 1.20c

i was able to make a new file with touch, and i got happy and started to
cat from /dev/urandom to a file, to see if it goes beyond 2gigs (thats
becouse im experimenting with cifs, i want to be able to copy 2gb+ files
to a windows machine)
after about 200mbs the machine locked up.

is this a known problem?

should i try with a 2.6 kernel and the latest cifs patch?
do you need any other info on this?

thanks
wd
