[linux-cifs-client] Object is remote

This is what I get when trying to connect to a Win2003 server with MSDFS:

# mount -t cifs -o username=bruwaek,password=private //rto.be/kompasnet /mnt/test
mount error 66 = Object is remote
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g.man mount.cifs)

Any idea how to get past this? The man page doesn't explain much here.
I'm on Linux 2.6.7 (Knoppix based)
