[linux-cifs-client] NetApp cifs permission setting problem

Dear all:

I am using Samba 3.0.13, mount.cifs 1.8 and kernel 2.6.11. We recently
bought a NetApp FAS 270 filer and although I can mount it on the Samba
server alright, I can't set permissions using either chmod and setfacl.
I've read the documentation on mount.cifs and tried to mounted it with acl
option but it doesn't work. The error message is:

setfacl: file: operation not supported

And when I enter the mount command, it appears as:

//<ip_address_of_nas>/<share> on /<mount_point> type cifs (rw, mand)

Any help is appreciated, thank you very much.
