I am glad that works - I really need to update the xml for the 
mount.cifs manpage so this is easier for people to find the more obscure 
mount options (cifs is now quite configurable on mount), and I also 
noticed that I need to add it to the summary list of mount options 
displayed by:
    /sbin/mount.cifs --help
