After reading the snia spec - I see what you mean - which makes the task
that much harder. Would you have issue with me passing round the value
of Unicode to each funtion that uses FileName? That would indicate what
state FileName was in (unicode/ascii). If I could do this it could
potentially clean up much of the Unicode stuff. What you think?
