[linux-cifs-client] cifs and du error

I have been focusing on the 2.6 cifs vfs code almost exclusively for the 
past week (e.g. getting past the Linux read ahead/write behind cache 
flashing questions that I was asking about on linux-fsdevel mailing list), 
so the backmerges of those fixes to 2.4 may not be stable enough for use 
of 1.02 on 2.4 yet.
