That is more or less what I expected less than 1% free due to agressive 
caching.

If I knew which cases to disabled calls to generic_file_read and 
generic_file_write (bypassing the local cache) - perhaps when O_DIRECT is 
specified, it counterintuitively could help performance  in some cases.
