well, today i wanted to try to copy 4 files, 2 a few KB, 2 between 600
and 800MB, from my local linux partition to a remote NTFS share ina new
directory.
Mounting and creating the directory with mkdir worked without problems,
but the cp commonfilestart* /mountedshare/dir/ only created the first
file with a size of 0 bytes on the share, then kinda froze, i couldn't
neven kill the cp command nor the cifsd, and normal rebooting didn't
succeed either, i had to press the reset switch.. (other apps still
worked however, so not evereything froze)..
I am using the current cifs bk tree..
After rebooting i mounted the share with smbfs and everything worked, so
it seems thereare some major bugs left in cifs :(
