If your NTLM filter isn't working,  try to turn on DNS name resulution
and set "jcifs.resolveOrder=DNS"
 
You may have a problem with WINS name resolution that is causing you
grief.  WINS can return bad entries which will cause your general
authentication to fail, so avoiding it is a good idea.
