[jcifs] java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError for AS4

Dears,

 

I setup a tomcat 6.0.13, with JDK1.5.0.05, jCIFS 1.2.13, I want to use
jCIFS to do HTTP authentication with backend AD server.

The OS environment is Linux AS4, kernel is 2.6.18.

After set the web.xml, start tomcat, and access via 8080 port , I get a
ExceptionInInitalizerError (The browser is FireFox 2.0):

type Exception report

message 

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented
it from fulfilling this request.

exception 

javax.servlet.ServletException: Filter execution threw an exception

root cause 

java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

        jcifs.UniAddress.<clinit>(UniAddress.java:62)

        jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.negotiate(NtlmHttpFilter.java:157)

        jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.doFilter(NtlmHttpFilter.java:115)

root cause 

java.lang.NullPointerException

        jcifs.netbios.NbtAddress.<clinit>(NbtAddress.java:199)

        jcifs.UniAddress.<clinit>(UniAddress.java:62)

        jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.negotiate(NtlmHttpFilter.java:157)

        jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.doFilter(NtlmHttpFilter.java:115)

note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Apache
Tomcat/6.0.13 logs.
