I am able to achieve some what windows Authentication. But still having
some problem.
the Steps that I followed are:
1. Downloaded Jcif.jar and added it to library of the web
application(server O/S Windows 2003 server).
2. Added the filter section in the web.xml as you had given (in server).
3. Created user(client) Accounts in The server system for the clients
to access/run the application.Vardhaman and password :12345.
Asif and password : asif.
4.Created user client accounts in client (one account for each system
O/S is Windows Xp)
eg: on one System username:Vardhaman and password :12345
Similarly on other System username : Asif and password : asif.
Now when I try to run the application on client m/c first a
pop-up window comes ,on my system and run the application with my
username and password (Vardhaman and 12345) the application runs .
Also when I sit on my system and try to run the application when
d pop-up window comes if I give username and password as Asif and asif
still the application runs. Acctually this conditon should be false.
How can I overcome this problem?
Also is there any way can I read the system name without a pop-up
window coming on client m/c?
Looking forward for your reply. Please help me out.
