[jcifs] ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException with Vista IE7 (jcifs 1.2.15)

We get
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException
	at java.lang.System.arraycopy(Native Method)
	at jcifs.smb.SigningDigest.<init>(SigningDigest.java:42)
	at jcifs.smb.SmbSession.sessionSetup(SmbSession.java:272)
	at jcifs.smb.SmbSession.send(SmbSession.java:233)
	at jcifs.smb.SmbTree.treeConnect(SmbTree.java:154)

Which seems to be caused by empty ntResponse field in the type3 message.
Does anyone know what might be the problem?
