[jcifs] authentication not working

Hi



  We developed an internal application( using servlets and jsp's) intended
for management people, and deployed it on tomcat . Here when a user tries to
open

 Application using its URL, it finds out the username trying to access
application and checks access rights of the person and displays
corresponding page.

Here we used NTLM to retrieve windows login username, its working fine on
all desk tops but failing with most of  laptops( not all ), even its not
showing any error message
  After some research we found that problem is with NTLM authentication,  we
did lot of experiments with internet settings but no use. Any help regarding
this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
