Hi, thanks for the reply. But I think when you use JNDI, you should provide the
host and port so you already know the domain suffix at that time. Am I missing
anything? Can you use JNDI without providing the hostname?

If I can figure out the domain suffix, finding the IP is not a problem. I can
just use "dig" in linux to lookup the IP.
