[jcifs] can I detect symbolic links?

hi,

In my case users should not have the same rights when they
login over the network. I want to prevent that a user
create a symbolik link to a directory where he local has
right for.


Looks like the SmbFile only give information about
the canonical path.

The java.io.File class has the method getAbsolutePath().

Is there a way to detect, if a file is a symbolic link?


(i found a thraed from 2003 that it is not possible,
 but maybe somthing changed)
